New Year's Day
Sitting next to Walter's door at sunrise on the first morning of the New Year, is a Trek Mountain bike. This one: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/mountain_full_suspension/
It has a giant red ribbon tied to the back of the saddle. Hanging under the ribbon is a little envelope with a card.
The card reveals the identity of Walter's Secret Santa along with this apology:
Dear Walter, I'm celebrating the New Year holiday in silent retreat and will miss the party this evening. I hope you have the very happiest year ever. There's no way to make up for lost time, but it is possible to have lots of fun with the time you have. Hugs, your Secret Santa and her Awesome Helper.
